How to set up your emails on an iPhone.

This is the Two-Factor-Authentication (2FA) way.

Firstly click the "Settings" icon.

Scroll down to "Mail" and click.

Then click "Accounts"

Now select "Add Account"

Select "Other"

Select "Add Mail Account"

Enter your account name, email address, 2FA password and description.

Your 2FA password can be found in your webmail area and was generated when you set up Two-Step Authentication. Click the eye icon to reveal the password.

Add the 2FA password into the password boxes, not the original password for your email account. You only use the original password to login to the webmail account.

Click "Next"

Enter the mail server name for incoming and outgoing servers and check your email address and 2FA password are entered for both areas.

Click "Next"

That should be all setup.

If for some reason it doesn't setup, save your settings and then go back in and check it looks correct.

Note: then screenshots don't show the 2FA passwords in place but they should be for your emails to work.

Click "SMTP" to view the smtp Outgoing server settings.

NOTE: You can use port 587 or 465 as your outgoing port.

Click "Done", which should bring you back to the previous page where you should click "Advanced".

This will show you the Incoming server settings.

If you have your email address in the username boxes and the 2FA passwords in the relevant password boxes, the mail servers set to "mail.ysmail.co.uk" and the ports as shown, then all should work.
